Jennifer and Michael married at the glamourous Westchester County wedding venue The Mansion on Broadway in White Plains, NY. The day began at the bride’s family home, which was full of excitement on this special day. Jennifer wanted to make sure her parents were a part of her wedding day and chose to gift her dad custom cufflinks that featured a photo and handwriting on them. She gave her mom a purse with a photo printed on the inside. I love that Jennifer went the extra mile to make her parents feel special on her wedding day. I especially love that she included a photo with the gifts. This just goes to show that Jennifer truly values the sentiment that photos can bring, which made me even more thankful to be a part of her wedding day.
The ceremony took place at St. Gregory The Great Church, a beautiful church where the couple exchanged their vows. One thing I love about a Catholic church ceremony is its grandeur; with vows and readings, it’s really special to witness. After the ceremony, we all hopped on a bus and headed to a nearby park to capture some bride and groom portraits.
Living in Texas, I am not used to getting actual fall colors with the trees, so being in New York in the fall for this wedding was magical! We were able to take couples photos as well as wedding party photos in the park with the beautiful fall trees of New York. The colors were so perfect for a fall wedding! It was one of those perfect days when the light and the colors came together, and I could not stop taking pictures; it was so beautiful!
After pictures, we headed to The Mansion on Broadway for their wedding reception. This venue is truly something out of an Old Hollywood movie, an elegant mansion decorated with the classic decor of candles, white roses, and gold accents. It created the perfect warm ambient setting for the evening. The evening was filled with dancing and laughter. The Mansion on Broadway was the perfect venue to create this romantic Old Hollywood vibe.
Jennifer and Michael had the perfect vision for their fall wedding. Combining the grand church with the luxurious Mansion on Broadway. It was a day full of romantic glamour filled with the best sentimental gifts, stunning fall leaves, and ambient candlelight. For couples planning a wedding that combines a classic church ceremony with a glamorous reception, this wedding at The Mansion on Broadway is the perfect inspo for you!
