It was an honor to capture Jordan and Taylor’s wedding at the Chapel at Palacios in Westlake, Texas. This venue is a gem that deserves way more attention from anyone planning a wedding in the DFW area!

The Chapel at Palacios is like a slice of Tuscany in Texas. Its combination of modern elegance on the inside with its Tuscan-style exterior makes your wedding day feel like you’re in another country. The fact that this wedding venue is surrounded by water, and the chapel architecture, makes it the perfect backdrop for wedding photos!

The day was filled with glamorous touches, starting with the bridal suite. It felt like a soft European dream, with plenty of natural light spilling through elegant windows. I was dying over this bridal suite. I was so happy we had a little time to do a mini photoshoot with Taylor before she put on the dress. It was such a fun and glamorous moment that really allowed her to relax before she said, “I do.”

A Special Touch During The Wedding Reception

There was a moment of this wedding that I had never seen before at any other wedding. The bride had a surprise for her new husband that totally caught him off guard! She had recorded herself singing a song for a dance with her groom. As they took to the dance floor, her voice filled the room. Jordan was so surprised that she pulled this off without him finding out! The bride kept pointing to herself, saying “THAT’S ME!” as the song played. All of their guests loved it & were singing along.

I was so grateful to be a part of this milestone for Jordan and Taylor. From the indoor ceremony to the private vows, they shared with one another to the dance party that ended the night. Capturing those little moments and the intimate glances at each other, was a photographer’s dream! The Chapel at Palacios was the perfect wedding backdrop, allowing me to capture the couple’s vision of a glamorous and romantic wedding. The blend of Tuscan vibes with modern glam gave every photo a little touch of their personality.

But, most importantly, Baylee was literally like another maid of honor to me. She was there to laugh & cry during every moment. Every time I needed a tissue, she was there to give me one. Every time I got nervous or anxious I would look at her for a laugh and she would calm me down instantly! It’s amazing how you can meet someone only a handful of times and instantly click! She was so much more to me than just a photographer on my wedding day. Her second shooter was also amazing, absolutely loved her!”
